drop.io is going realtime on tuesday: on tuesday drop.io is the first filesharing application to go fully 'realtime'. We believe that realtime rich media functionality, especially when coupled with chat and mobile features, is the future of lightweight sharing and collaboration in general, and are proud to help lead the charge. While others are enabling real-time functionality in the 'public sharing' space, we are pushing the boundaries of private sharing and collaboration. Below is a video that demonstrates some of the changes we are making. We are turning the feature on tuesday 10:00 AM for our users. We ask that posts/comments/etc please be held until then to prevent user confusion.
