Dell Children's Medical Center is seeing so many children sick with what
is presumed to be swine flu, it expects to start treating some of them
in tents starting today.

The hospital was on pace Monday afternoon for an all-time record number
of patients after seeing more than 200 before 3 p.m. --- the normal load
for a 24-hour period, said Sister Teresa George, chief operating
officer. During the school year, the busy time starts after 3 p.m., when
schools are out, George said. Hospital officials said most of the
children arriving at the emergency room are mildly to moderately ill
with the H1N1 virus. The hospital isn't routinely testing to determine
what type of flu patients have, but federal health officials say
virtually all flu circulating now is H1N1.

Re:  Operating Guidelines
for Employees in Response to Pandemic Flu

 

Novel H1N1 influenza (“swine
flu”) is present at MU. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
estimate that 30 to 50 percent of the population may be affected by the novel
H1N1 flu. Please stay at home and do not come to work if you are
experiencing flu-like symptoms. Make contact with your health care provider
if you are ill.

Prevention
(Hygiene and Cleaning):

Sanitize
"high-touch" surfaces (doorknobs, elevator buttons, tables, counters)


•        
Use good hand
hygiene and respiratory etiquette (sneezing on shirt sleeve, elbow; frequent
hand washing)

health care provider

Self-diagnosis
based on symptoms

(fever of 100° or higher, body aches, cough, sore throat, etc.)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - More than 300 people have died from the new
pandemic swine
flu virus, U.S. health
officials said on Friday, but they said the virus was so widespread they
were ceasing the official count.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 43,771 cases of
H1N1 influenza had
been officially confirmed, with 302 deaths.

The pandemic spread globally in less than two months and has infected people
in 160 countries, killing 800 people, the World Health Organization said.
The WHO numbers do not include the latest CDC count.

Health experts say millions have likely been infected worldwide, but doctors
can only test a fraction of suspected cases. Flu tests are expensive and
unreliable and confirming
H1N1 swine
flu is difficult.

Health officials are now working with companies to test and make a vaccine
against H1N1 to be
delivered alongside seasonal influenza vaccines.

to receive a Certification of Live Birth, the very "evidence" the White
House has cited
in defending its assertion Obama was born in Hawaii.

Hawaiian law specifically allows "an adult or the legal parents of a minor
child" to apply to the health department and, upon unspecified proof, be
given the birth
document.

The only requirement for proof cited in the law doesn't address the birth of
the child either, just "that the legal parents of such individual while
living without Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or
State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately
preceding the birth or adoption of such child."

If you read the Economic Hitmen book, some facts about Pakistan are
very interesting:

The IMF has approved a loan to Pakistan (early 2009) and on july 12
approved the 3rd tranch. Not exactly clear why, but the IMF wants the
electricity tariffs up by 17.5% this year. So it looks like a IMF
power scheme.

Mark F Viator, president of Partnership Strategies in Texas and
currenty involved in The Industrial Workforce Alliance "focused on the

occurring in Southeast Texas". He is also vice-precedent for Imat
Services Energy Investment group. On july 13 he lead a four man strong
group to discuss US investments in Pakistan in "They expressed their
interest to invest in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Housing &
Construction projects etc.". Seems they're talking about US
investments in Energy and the delegation leader is running a program
to supply skilled workforces for the petrochemical industry. Looks
like money and knowhow flowing into Pakistan. Interestingly, Pakistan
states that their foreign investment policy allows 100% foreign equity
in major sectors and full repatriation of profits and dividends in all
sectors . This means that there are no restrictions on letting your
profits flow back to the US. Try that in India or Thailand for
example, that's a no show.

The amount the USA invested in Pakistan in humanitarian aid is $3.4
billion since 2002. The US recently made a show of selling 6
watertrucks to the Pakistan army, for $ 179000. Don't see why this is
such a big deal, they wouldn't be sending something else along with it

In all, it looks like the IMF sealed the deal and now the US is
stepping up its investments in the energy sector. Interesting! There
is already enough military investments going into Pakistan (CIA and
special ops training).
